Orange
Black Skirt
The brighter color in this outfit is on the top but I would like to talk about the skirt. Before I got this black skirt I had already dreamed about it. I envisioned a black sculptural skirt that I could wear with anything on top. When I saw this piece at the store I just knew that it was exactly what I was looking for. Just take a look at something that I made in 2007 and you will see that this skirt was really in my dreams :) I also love the top, here is how it looks without the cardigan. And these shoes are a favorite of mine right now, so delicate and feminine.

Mushroom Skirt
This dulce de leche mushroom skirt is almost edible. I love it as much as Diego does. There is something about the shape that makes Diego smile, he looks at me and smiles with a big interrogation sign on top of his head. I wish that I could open the tiny door to his mind to see what he thinks about this skirt :)
Skirt: Anthropologie
Vest: H&M

* O R A N G E *Flamboyant and Energetic :Orange is vibrant. It's a combination of red and yellow so it shares some common attributes with those colors. It denotes energy, warmth, and the sun. But orange has a bit less intensity or aggression than red, calmed by the cheerfulness of yellow.
Culture of Orange:Orange brings up images of autumn leaves, pumpkins, and (in combination with Black) Halloween. It represents the changing seasons so in that sense it is a color on the edge, the color of change between the heat of summer and the cool of winter.
These words are synonymous with orange or represent various shades of the color orange.
Gold, flame, copper, brass, apricot, peach, citrus, tangerine, pumpkin.

Picture of oranges from Wikipedia.
Today I invite you to enjoy a fresh glass of orange juice with me :) And since orange (naranja in Spanish) is the color of change I also invite you to think about something tiny or big that you would like to change in your life, something possible. (I want to stop being afraid of driving on the freeway, I have never done it before but I know that I can do it).
Have a wonderful day my friend!
Elsita :)
