Hello,
You can read my personal story HERE.
About this blog:
As soon as I became a Mother, life began to get intense, specially after our son Diego was diagnosed with Autism at age 2. I got overwhelmed and started to feel worn out. I was so focussed on helping my children, that I forgot to take care of myself. That story seems to repeat itself over a over again with parents around the world, regardless of what culture we come from.
This simple blog was born as a way to gain some self-awareness around that time. The experiment lasted 4 years and the results were very positive. I learned that a little bit of intention can go a long way. Just enjoying something as mundane as getting dressed in the morning, can make a great difference during the rest of the day when we're dealing with bigger things.
Our children are doing really well now. All the hard work during those first years with Diego payed off. He has grown to be a self-confident and positive boy, so has our daughter Natalie. My personal and professional life on the other side has continued to grow and develop. I'm truly happy.
Thanks for your visit, take care, and see you around.
Elsa
