Winter Drawings :)
Today I am so excited to share something that I made with you :) These are the very last pieces that I created in 2008.
These drawings were born in a quiet night up in the mountains, in our little warm and cozy cabin surrounded of snow.
I miss drawing and painting and I am planning to do it as often as possible in this new year.
This year I will be more connected with the galleries that represent my work and I am really excited about it. I am going to have two solo shows.
There is so much within me that I need take out and translate into images.
My life has changed so much in the last three years since Diego was born. I have learned so many important lessons.
How lucky I am having two hands that let me "talk" about things that I don't know how to say in words. The words come out only after the images have been created. And I am so lucky that you inspire me to write down words to describe the things that I create. Thank you so very much for that, you make my creative process complete because otherwise it would be a solitary experience.
I am looking forward to starting new visual dialogues with you through this place!
Have a wonderful weekend my friend and see you on Monday!
Elsita :)
