More Drawings

I am so excited to share these two new drawings with you today :)

 

Self-Defense is the title of this first one. I think that (like most animals) people develop their own ways to protect themselves against agressions from the outside world. This little girl has a mind full of mechanisms to protect herself and survive the rough part of life.

And the title of this second drawing is Trapped. In this case I am talking about being trapped in a situation where we can't move forward and do the things that we need to do. This drawing comes from my memories of one of my main creative crisis. This one in particular happened in 2001 when I first moved to the USA. It was a painful experience.

But It turns out that having periods of creative crisis is not a bad thing in the end. Sometimes these periods are just a way for our mind to ALERT us about changes that we have to do in some parts of our lives. Crisis and change come together and together they help us develop as human beings.
