I have loved suspenders since I was little and I still enjoy wearing them as an adult :) They add a little bit of fun to your outfit, it is just a little detail but as always, the key is in the details :)
Just in case you feel like trying this idea I want to give you a link to hundreds of suspenders in different colors and at great prices, I think that I am going to get the mustard ones :) But I also feel inspired to play with these gold ones :)

I am relieved! I thought you were talking about the underwear! We call them braces over in the UK.
I first got to know my BF over braces. I wore them to uni & he felt embarrassed to wear his, but I promised I would wear them to same day as him so he wouldn't feel so silly! It's been a happy ending ever since. Perhaps I will wear mine today just to remember!
Thanks for reminding me!

What a great combo!
I first thought that the suspenders came with the pants, as they match so nicely together!
The pink/grey mix is one my favorites!
I'd love to try the gold suspenders! :-)

Yaaaay, I love them too! Especially the gold ones! I used to wear then with baggy pants, white shirt, tie and hat....until a friend asked if I was trying to look like Annie Hall! (I'd never seen the film at the time, one of my faves now!!!)

What an awesome link! I love specialty stores like that. You look great, and I love how the room you take photos in always looks so sun-dappled.

Wow this is terrific! You look all artsy and like you stepped out of a movie or an era of bygone days. It reminds me of something dreamy like A Walk In The Clouds. Somewhat 30's-ish. Not sure if I could pull off the suspenders like you, but I might try it. I think you make everything look divine.

I have to admit, I tend to shy away from pants because they don't feel like me for some reason, but this look is gorgeous. It's really making me rethink my ability to work pants. And the suspenders are fantastic

I caught my BF in his braces and he was so embarrassed. I can't understand why, so i said I would happily wear them. Then he said that would embarrass him as well. Anyway I did and he agreed I looked great. I have now bought him another pair and he is reluctantly wearing them in public. So please, ladies, tell your guy it is Ok to wear braces and not be embarrassed. We like them.
