Now we all know why bookmaking is so fun!
We're driving up to the mountains today for a well deserved mini vacation. One of the activities that we're planning to enjoy is bookmaking. I will be choosing small paper from the 3 options that Natalie mentions in the first paragraph ;)
I hope that you have a wonderful summer. I will come back here as soon as I have a chance to catch up.
Sending hugs and smiles!
Elsita :)

Sweet Natalie! :)
Have a great family vacation, dear Elsita!

You are so right Natalie, there are so many choices to make when you want to make a book. Each time you make a different choice the book will turn out differently. Have fun making your paperbook and I will make my book with black velvet and all kinds of other fabrics. In that way we are working together on our ideas and choices about books.
Have a fantastic holiday and I hope to see your book!!!!

THe letters "A" in her name already look like an interesting design choice! I love the little vignettes she drew. It is fantastic to see children are making the best designs in the most effortless way sometimes. Unfortunately we all lose this talent once we grow up and have to re-learn. I d love to see more drawings from Natalie!

Ah this made me smile, your daughter has it right. A friend gave my 5 yr old son a pop up book making kit for his birthday and he was over the moon with it and so proud of the book he made ('Hello Snake').
Have a lovely vacation. I'd love to see the finished books you make.

This totally cracked me up! I am STILL laughing out loud, while my husband is in the next room wondering why. :)
