Today I want to share a new print design with you. It is a new version of Little Red Riding Hood. There are so many ways to interpret this children's classic story. I have my own way to look at it. Little Red Riding Hood is in my opinion about fears and about overcoming them, it's about growing up, it's about the battle between good and evil... All of those elements are universal and timeless. That's the reason why the story is still alive, passing from generation to generation.
This particular version is about a girl that was forced to grow up too fast, due to the extreme events that she had to experience as a little girl. She had to become half wolf and half woman in order to survive. But her gentle and innocent soul is still within, intact and guiding her through all the dark forests in her life.

this is so beautiful!

Beautiful. I'm reminded also of Peter and the Wolf and the Prokofiev music, the combinatin of magic and nature.
