Yaaaay that sounds really positive Elsta! :0) Well, I've just turned 42 and according to The Hitchikers guide to the galaxy, the answer to Life, the Universe and everything is......42!!!So hopefully this will be a great year for both of us! I look forward to seeing alot more of your Wonderful creative projects! Big hugs, xxx

I'll be there (at 40) 3 years and 13 days after you! I'm actually sort of looking forward to it, too. I just created a 40 before 40 list that I'm very excited to complete. We'll see how I do. Can't wait to see what you have in store for us!

You have the same birthday as my (also incredibly creative and talented) daughter, Annabelle--who will be 12 in 2011, also, I think, an important birthday for girls/women. She is inspired by you, btw, and is making paper clay dolls. Here's one in progress if you want to have a look! http://checkoutgirlcrafts.blogspot.com/2010/11/inspired.html

i can't wait to see where your creative mind takes you in your fourth decade. I am sure it will be like visiting a new universe in all its splendor

Yes being 40 is the best age. At 45 I can finally say: I am and that is an fantastic feeling.

Have a great weekend.

This is the best thing I could hear from a creative woman in this arid society....apparently there is not much space and time for creative people today!!

Your enthusiasm is so encouraging!!! When I turned 40 I realized that I was in the age of acceptance... this was who I was and I had accumulated enough wisdom to feel contentment with myself. 4 years later I am trying to bring that to my art. I think you realized that a lot earlier! Being authentic to yourself in your art is one of those things that is easy for some but very hard for others. This is what I admire most about you. I'm excited to see what is inside your head!

It's one I'll remember. It's so inspiring and gives me a new perspective on challenges in life. I will especially remember this line, "As long as I wake up to a new day every morning, no matter what the circumstances are, I am always sure that everything will be alright." Thank you for being so willing to share.
