Good Morning my friend!
Here I am with a little question: Do you know any good lawyer in Chicago, Illinois, that takes care of cases related to car accidents? My dear friend from childhood who lives in Chicago just had a car accident on the freeway. This crazy guy (drunk) hit her car and she is alive by a real miracle, her car is lost as you can see. My friend really needs a lawyer. We have gotten some contacts but I was wondering if you know someone in particular that you recommend?
Thank you in advance!Elsita :)

I know finding a good lawyer is very important but I really think the first thing is to have really good doctors and therapists attending to your injuries immediately. A great many people wait until the pain and stiffness if really severe before they seek medical attention and then it is much for difficult to treat. The tissue holds onto the memory of pain and suffering. As does the mind. My advice would be medical treatment and rehabilitation first, lawyers later.

Did you find someone? 7 years ago I hit a patch of black ice heading to Chicago on 65. My car rolled-I have a c7/t1 complete spinal cord injury. I am a quad. After my accident I went to Northwestern for the first month. It was determined that a flaw in the design of my car kept it from protecting me. Instead because I was wearing my seatbelt I became a torpedo. Long lawsuit followed.
Can send my attorney info along if you need it. Would also be glad to "chat" with your friend to help her deal with the PTSD after the accident.
I am so glad she is ok. Your concern will mean so much to her.
Take care

What a wreck!! But thank goodness your friend already found a lawyer to handle this case. And most importantly, she's out of danger. =)

It's been two years since you posted this. How did things go with finding a lawyer? Here's a tip if ever you get into a scuffle like this again: when you're looking for a lawyer, do a little background check on the cases they've had and the client feedback they're receiving. That's going to help you find the right lawyer.
