Today I just wanted to share this picture of Diego with you. Our little prince is doing amazing.
*His vocabulary is huge now!
*He is talking in long sentences.
*His favorite questions is: Hey! What do you think you're doing? (in his opinion that means: what are you doing?)
*Whenever he does something "bad" he says: Don't worry Mommy, it's just an accident. And then he smiles just like in the picture above.
*He asks me to open a word document on my computer so he can spell his favorite words and those words are:
-sponge bob
-open season 2
-monsters inc
-diego
-abc
*He is friend with Sally's cat now. Sally's cat is not super friendly but he likes Diego. Diego decided to call him Hello Kitty. He says: Hi Hello Kitty, what a cute little cat, you're so cute Hello Kitty.
Diego's main quality is that loves people (and people love him back). The only little detail is that if you don't look as young as Natalie who is 6 then you're automatically a Grandma or Grandpa, even if you're 20. We're trying to correct this :0 Because some people take it really personal, specially if they are, let's say 40 and look amazing. Diego still will say: Hi GrAAAndma! (he makes the letter A very long, which is even harder for the person in question)
But we promise to keep working on this detail :)
Lots of love!
Happy Friday and have a great weekend my friend!
Elsita :)

Diego looks and sounds amazing. I think he learned that smile and stance from his brother Miro. I recognized it immediately. I definitely would never mind if he called me graaaanma because I think it reflects respect and wisdom. I would really love to hear his voice. Any chance of a short video some time in the future? Have a wonderful weekend Diego and family. My cute kitties say hello.

Hi big guy, great to see your smiling face and hear all about your amazing adventures. You are THE BEST. I miss you and can't wait to play all of our special games when I get back home. LOVE, Dad.

Diego, you are amazing and have a smile to win a million hearts! We are all so proud of everything you do! And to Mom - I don't see anything wrong with calling everyone Grandma or Grandpa - that is so minor and no one should ever be offended by that. Our Grandmas and Grandpas are extra special people and we always love them and look up to them - so who could be offended - it is an honor to be called that. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Diego--what a charming smile you have!!

cute. I promise not to mind being called GRAMPA if the situation arises....
p.s.: About your problem with the paper cut out you were trying to put in resin without it disappearing (for your cast bronze necklace piece...):
I was thinking about it the other day for some reason and that MAYBE you can use SHRINKY DINKS? It may not be as elegant a solution (it will be a bit thicker than the paper, but you probably wont see the side of the cut-out when it is resting in it's "frame"), but of you experiment with the shrinking ratio (to get it to shrink to the right size..), you can draw on them with white pencil or acrylic, etc(always fun to experiment there too...), and when it shrinks it should stay opaque in resin since it is water-proof, and resin proof, hopefully, as it won't absorb the resin, just "sit" in it...
Good luck...

Diego has such a beautiful smile and looks so happy :-) Congratulations on making such great progress Diego!
Hope all is going well for your show. I wish I could be there for your opening to see all of your wonderful creations. I know it will be fabulous and you will probably sell everything! Someday I hope to meet you in person if I make it out to the West Coast. I'm an east coaster. Anyway, it's a secret dream of mine... all the best

Es precioso tu niño, Elsa. Enhorabuena por sus progresos, en los que tú tienes mucho que ver, estoy segura. Y con todo ese amor alrededor, seguro que alcanzará metas que hoy no podéis ni imaginar. Un abrazo.

It's so funny to imagine Diego calling everyone Graaaaandma. Especially in Hollywood where everyone is so age obsessed! He's adorable, and am sure he is a great blessing to you.

Tu dices que Diego tiene la cualidad de querer a las personas... eso es producto del inmenso amor que tiene a su alrededor.
