Very sad news. Still hard to believe.

Thank you, Elsita. So many people that I know have said some very cruel things about this, including that he's better off now. How can anyone say that? Of course he isn't better off, because he's no longer alive! His poor children and family.
Thank you for always being kind and considerate. More people need to read your words.

I can remember vividly the evening the Jackson five and that sweet super talented child, Michael , who stole all our hearts, appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show. It will stay with me forever.

This is all so very sad...little children should not lose parents! (There are 3, Elsa) and until we have more info, we shall never know if this *is* for the best, because for years the sad fact is that Michael has not appeared to be a very happy person, it's seemed he was dying inside; and no one should be so tortured. Still, what do I know...an outsider. I shouldn't even speculate, so will just offer silent thoughts to his family and children, and all who loved him.

As to Farrah, we have lost a wonderful and talented lady. She is an angel now, with God, fully deserving of the pain-free, peaceful grace that comes with that.

Mariella

My deepest sympathy for Micheal's and Farrah's family. Fifty and Sixty two is way to young.

Micheal seemed to light up when he was on stage or amongst his fans. I can remember lip syncing to "Thriller," one of my favorite mini-movie videos. Yet, he seemed like a very sad man in private. I hope he is able to find peace and happiness in the after life.

May Farrah rest in peace after a long brutal battle against an unforgiving disease. I hope her son makes wise decisions in the future.

May we live today as it was our last because you just never know.

Elsa - Thank you for putting these tragedies into a more positive perspective. They are people just like us and I hope everyone will let their families get through their deaths in peace. You wrote about this so eloquently. Bless you. Jamie V in MT

Dear Elsa.

I have been following your blog for a while now and feel it's about time to write you some words. I want to tell you that you inspire me so much, both through what you write and through your lovely work! Thank you :)
