The story is so beautiful and you told it with such vividness and so much love. Thank you for such an intimate gift you gave us, though you've never seen us in real life, thank you!
I hope you have a peaceful vacation. Enjoy your holidays, I'll be thinking of you.

Of course you will be missed my dear friend but I hope you have a wonderful vacation with your family and that you get tons of rest to start the new year in the best shape you can be in. It has been a wonderful year and I am so looking forward to the next one. I wish all the blessings of the world on you and hugs bigger than the universe.

Thanks for sharing your very personal and private story with all of us in cyberland. I know from your art that you are truly fearless. I was sad that you feel responsible even a little for your sisters illness, schizophrenia is a brain illness and nothing except medication, maybe psychotherapy and time can improve it. Don't be afraid to re-connect with your sister, there is a lot of water under the bridge and things could be much different now. Start with an apology and see how she responds, if it's a positive response take it from there. You never know what may happen.

Thank you so much for sharing your Sister's tale with us!
I wish you a very happy time for the Holidays!

My dearest Elsa
Altought I have not made any comments (I fell so shy on blogland, different from my flickr images...), I would like you to know that I have read all your story and visited the sister project. I have not had a sister of my own, but today I do have one, my sister in law, a schizophrenic woman, just like Ileana. Sometimes I am amazed by the coincidences of life (do they actually exist?)and the crossing paths between all human beings... I wish you all the best for this upcoming year. LOVE, ART, ART, LOVE. LOVE AND ART IS ALL WE NEED. com amor, Maria and family.

Merry Christmas. I hope you're having a good break!
Thanks for sharing the story about your sister. You've gone through a lot more with you family than I have, maybe more than I ever will, and it's given me a lot to think about.
Cheers, and happy new year!
