New Doll :)
Today I want to introduce you to Miss Lady Pantalones who is a collector of anything small. Our Lady goes everywhere with her round suitcase and she only wears pants.
Miss Lady Pantalones is on a special diet called tiny bites. This is due to the fact that her mouth is too small. If she tries to take medium size of big bites she could choke :0
I have been having such a busy week!!!!
I can't even tell you, but when I look at Miss Lady Pantalones I hear her say: Hey my friend! Don't worry too much, everything is OK, take it easy and just be positive :) What I like the most about these dolls is that they "talk" to me when I am going through a hard time.
Natalie had a little accident and hurt her eye, I had to pick her up from school early yesterday and now she is under rest at home. Please wish her a quick recovery! Resting means not drawing or using her eyes too much and that is a torture for her. Poor little Natalie :(
Now I need to do my nurse job which I enjoy very much. All I have to do is hug Natalie a lot and tell her how much I love her, that's all she wants from me right now :)
See you tomorrow!
Elsita :)

Espero que natalie se recupere pronto. Le mando mis mejores deseos y un abrazo.

It is so hard when a young one hurts - you just want to make it all go away. Hug her extra for all of us.....and you little doll is adorable! Maybe Bill could play his flute for her to relax to!

i'm a big fan of your work and i read your blog every day now since i stumbled across it a few weeks ago.
I'm curious about how you made that small suitcase and what material is the doll made of(I mean the skin).it looks great! and I love the broach too..what can i say i'm a fan, and i never use this word..
mejores deseos:) (i admit I stole the fraze from the previous post 'cause i don't speak spanish, and i hope it means something like best wishes and won't make a fool of myself)

Such a sweet doll and I just adore her little case of goodies. They are little works of art in themselves. Speedy recovery to my favorite little artist natalie. She could wear a patch today and pretend to be a wonderful little pirate girl with an enormous imagination and explore far away places in her mind. I remember when my son hurt his eye with a sharp twig at school he only wanted Doctor mommy to fix it and would not let any one else near him :)

I hope Natalie feels better soon! I am home this morning with Ruben who cried pitifully because he's too little to go to school with Diego, while Diego cried because he didn't want to go to school. Sometimes our house is Tragedy Central! I wish we had your Diego's Magic Bus.
Here is a fun no-eyes game to play with Natalie: We call this "feely bag." Collect a bunch of familiar small objects from around the house and put them in a pillowcase. Put a rubber band around the opening of the pillowcase and have her put her arm in and try to guess what's in there without peeking. We also like to try to guess the colors of identical objects (blocks, etc.)
Your productivity and positive attitude is very inspiring to me. I think of you often while I am trying to juggle my family responsibilities and my artistic life. I am also enjoying William's blog SO MUCH!
Thanks, and I hope you and Natalie enjoy having each other for the day even though she's not feeling well.

{{{HUGS NATILIE}}} GET WELL SOON!!!
Oh, The Doll is so very Cute! Love
the little suit case. Her name reminds
me of Pantaloons, Bloomers or Knickers.
I bought some vintage ones in really
great condition not to long ago. I am
thinking maybe they are from the 1800s.
God Bless You and Yours and Natilies Eyes!!!

Please tell Miss Pantalones that she has a friend in being a lover of small things because I love them too! Small things are wonderful! In a seed is the whole tree!

I'm so sorry to hear about Natalie. It's the worst feeling, to get a call from school saying your child is hurt. I'm hope she has speedy recovery and that you have sweet time together. I love how Maiz suggested a "no peeking" game. Miss Pantalones seems like the perfect companion to tell cheery stories. Your dolls always have so many wonderful details and are very rich in character. Those boots!
