Yay!!!!! The number one thing that I have to say today is THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH for every single comment left in my last post! They gave me such a great amount of good energy!!! If I could find a way to put that energy into my car I would be driving without gas for miles and miles :) You turned my first blog anniversary into a beautiful party! What a wonderful gift!
And now is when I announce in what direction our little bird will be flying :) So the winner of the little giveaway is: SONYA!!! Dear Sonya, just drop me an e-mail with your address whenever you have a chance and I will let the little bird find you :) Yay!!!!
And now my Halloween report:
In this photo you see my little pumpkins and myself. I am still trying to see what kind of costume I was wearing: I would say that I was a mix of princess, female viking and hippie diablo. My neighbors didn't recognize me at all in the beginning, but most importantly DIEGO wasn't sure if I was his Mom. He kept looking at me wondering how some strange lady could sound so much like his Mom. His expression was really funny, with a little smile and his eyes wide open. As you can see Diego was a King, wearing his red cape and blue felt crown that my dear friend Margie sent him as a present the last time that Bill went to Canada. Thank you sooo much again Margie! He was so in love with his costume!
And here, believe it or not, you see a mermaid. But not just a mermaid, she is a mermaid underwater carrying a pumpkin basket with her eyes closed because the doesn't like the salty water. In the very second that I took this picture she was swimming up to the surface, I am so glad that I took this picture right before she emerged from the ocean!. Once she got out of the water we started out trick or treat walk around the neighborhood :)
(Margie! Natalie is also wearing the crown that you sent her :)
Here is a photo of our very first stop! We stayed for about two seconds because Natalie was afraid of the doggies, but the doggies were not afraid of her, they were sooo sweet, take a look at the expression of the one on the right, I think that he was kind of hurt because Natalie was scared of them :(
And now that we are in the neighborhood let me introduce you to some of our neighbors. Here on the left you see this young couple, the pale bear looking one is Mauricio and his wife with the long nose is Larga Nariz. They have too sons (the two on the right) but they are pretty shy, as you can see they don't show any kind of expression to the camera :0
And this one is Mister Volcano Loco, everybody is scared of him because he spits fire all over the place when he is mad. And he is always mad! Run for your life!!!!!
Here is a house with sooooooooo many little lights! We started counting them but then we had to stop otherwise we were going to finish by Christmas :0 Here I have to inform you that this walk was only with Natalie and I. Our whole original plan of joining some friends and their children had to be changed in the last minute because guess what happened????????????? It looks like Bill broke his little toe!! He had some accident with a furniture and now he cannot walk without feeling a lot of pain. Bill and Diego stayed home so when Natalie and I came back this is what we saw:
We found Bill playing the piano for the fish, because the other member of the audience (Diego) decided not to stay for the concert, instead, he went to play in his room :o The fish tank is that little blue thing in the back center of the picture, the second little blue thing is the crown on Bill's head that, as you can imagine, he stole from Diego's head (but just for musical inspiration :) Then you see that big bowl on the table containing all the treats for our little visitors. We spent the rest of the night giving them away :)
Our Halloween night was simple but super nice!!!! All we need right now is a miracle so Bill's toe can heal as soon as possible!!
I hope that you also had a nice Halloween experience!!!!
Have a great day my friend and see you tomorrow!
Elsita :)

Hej Elsa,
Good to hear you had a super Halloween. I feel sorry for Bill because it takes some weeks before he can walk without pain and wear a decent shoe. Now I'm over to his blog.
See you tomorrow.

Sonya is one very lucky girl this morning. She won my first blog giveaway ever. I started out a little disappointed that your little bird didn't want to fly in the opposite direction to all the other birds flying south from Canada but was immediately cheered up when I saw the next photograph. They look so adorable in those crowns and I was so happy to have been able to give the box of gifts to Bill when he was in Toronto for TIF. One of these days my dream of you accompanying Bill on one of these trips north will come true. In the mean time I will just admire your words and pictures. So sorry about Bill's toe. Which toe is it? If it is the big toe he may need to get an aircast for comfort until it heals. I could felt him some cosy warm felt boots to match the blue crown that matches the aquarium :) By the way did anyone tell you bare an uncanny resemblance to cleopatra.
