Drawing on Fabric.
I have been so excited about sharing this little piece with you :)
I made it with cotton fabric stuffed with fiberfill and then I painted the surface with acrylic paint. On top of the acrylic paint I applied matte varnish for a smooth finish and then I drew on it as if it was paper. For the drawing I used a black fine pen (#005). I finished the piece with another coat of matte varnish for fixing the drawing. Yes!!! I can't wait to explore this little road a little more!
Have a great day and see you tomorrow!
Elsita :)

I love this so much. The ears on the bird face are so fascinating. I commented on flickr about how it reminds me of a vertical representation of a russian doll with the increasing sizes of images as you look up. Amazing. I can't wait for more.

Stunning! Have you tried printing on the printable canvas yet? You could make several at once that way.

what kind of black pen did you use that can write over the liquitex? it's awesome.

Fabulous. Such detail.
I have been drawing on bright patterned fabric with black Golden liquid acrylic and sewing them into what I call stuffed drawings. Very simple black line, nowhere near the detail as in yours.

Did you paint all over with white paint? Or is some of the design painted in?

Hi Hovawart!
Yes, I painted the surface all over with white acrylic paint and then draw the characters.
