And today I want to share my last paper sculpture with you. This sculpture is about turning the negative into something positive. The color red here is a symbol of life (blood, fluid) and white is the symbol of innocence. This girl has learned that behind any difficult situation in life there is always something important to learn. She has learned that in order to survive pain she has to love herself, she needs to listen to her own voice and she needs to respect her own needs and dreams. After learning all these lessons our girl has witnessed her personal nature grow. If we take care of our inner landscape, if we water our plants often and pay attention to what's going on inside we will always be ready and strong for anything negative coming from the outside world. This piece is dedicated to my Mom who is coming to visit us from Florida. She could be this girl.
Happy International Women's Day!
