Ryan Gosling.
Just a note to let you know that last night it was the premier of Lars and the Real Girl. at the Academy of Motion Picture. My husband gave the initial speech for introducing the movie to the audience. He said something funny about the director... the atmosphere was very nice. After the movie I finally had the opportunity to meet Ryan Gosling personally. What a beautiful person! He is so real and smart. In the middle of all the flashes and noise and people he was able to stay calm and focused. We had a nice conversation about Autism. I was telling him how his character in the movie to me is Autistic and then we started talking about my son. As an actor he is fascinated with the Autistic world. He said that he enjoys watching these amazing videos on Youtube with Autistic people talking about themselves and their worlds. I can't wait to see them too. The last thing that he told me in a low voice like a secret regarding my son was: when I have a son I want him to be Autistic. I know that this may sound crazy to you but I 100% understand him! I feel blessed to have Diego in our lives!!!! YOU ARE AMAZING RYAN! I hope that this movie does great. Please go see it when it comes out you will love it. I promise. It is a jewel.

OK, so I just realized that I'm the shallowest person ever because I just read through your very deep and thoughtful post about autism and the only thing I kept thinking was, "My God, that guy is so freakin hot!"
It is nice to hear that he's a good guy too.
Oh yah, and I just stopped by your Etsy shop and added you as a favorite. Beautiful stuff! I love the heart in your banner. I also love the contrast between how precise your paper-art is and how organic your clay shapes are.
