This piece was specially created for my good friend Debra who passed away last year. I wanted to represent the process in which the soul separates from the body when someone is dying. My friend loved it and found lots of peace in this image. I told her that her soul was always going to be alive in my heart and in the hearts of so many people who loved her. There isn't a day when I don't think about my friend. I believe that there is life beyond the body. Debra is so alive to me.

Pretty good post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say that I have really enjoyed reading your blog posts.

Elsita! I am so glad to have found your blog. My friend pinned one of your paper cuts and I thought the style looked familiar. I used to follow your style blog a few years ago.
Your artwork is lovely, thank you for sharing it.
