Oh my goodness, Elsita, you just keep exceeding your own vision. Wow. I am so sad the show doesn't open until April--I am going to be in LA 3/17-3/27 so I will just miss it! Let me know if you would like to meet for tea or coffee while I'm there; I'd love to meet you for real. The book is living happily in my living room on a beautiful desk with other treasured works of art...I'll send you a picture of Flower Vision in her new, I think happy, home. Thanks for this dose of beauty for my at-the-computer-working-and-paying-bills afternoon!! xx

I really like the white on top of the red. It's striking. As usual, I love the texture and the relief quality of your snips. jan

Other inventions - the vacuum tube to amplify sound, and coaxial cables to link long distances on land and under the seas -- greatly expanded phone service. Transistors replaced the old vacuum tubes, and by the 1960s communications satellites eliminated the necessity of landlines. Today, bundles of glass fibers carry calls on laser beams of light.

The arrival of spring brings warmer weather, more daylight, blooming of the daffodils and tulips, and opportunities to enjoy outdoor activities. The arrival of spring also means the Easter celebration is coming up soon. We will talk about Easter gift baskets in a later post. For this week, we are going to focus on the spring gifts that you can send to friends and loved ones this season. Several of our unique spring gifts are highlighted below:
